Most problems with the golf swing start with your
intial setup, are you lined too far right, too far left,
shoulders open or closed, ball too far forward or back
in your stance. This can be a lot to think of when you
are on the golf ccourse and somethign you shouldn't
have to think about tthere. On the practice range set
up two golf clubs or wooden ddowels like railway tracks
parallel to each other, place a 3rd club perpendicular
to the track closest to you. Use these as alignment
aids to help you with everything from body position
to ball position.
